Cancellation Policy
Please review the following policies before starting any services: Scope of Services SK Nutrition provides nutrition counseling and education from a Registered Dietitian. Services are not a substitute for medical care, diagnosis, or treatment. Clients must share accurate and updated health information. Payment & Fees Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged. If billing insurance, clients are responsible for confirming coverage; any uncovered services are the client’s responsibility. Refunds are not provided for completed sessions. Cancellation & No-Show Policy Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice. Late cancellations and no-shows may be charged the full session fee. Repeated cancellations may affect continued services. Privacy & Confidentiality All health information is kept confidential and secure in compliance with HIPAA. Exceptions include legal requirements such as risk of harm to self/others. Telehealth Services Virtual sessions are conducted via a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform. Clients must ensure a private, distraction-free environment. If technology issues cannot be resolved, the session will be rescheduled. Communication Policy Communication outside of sessions is available via [secure portal/email/phone]. Please allow 24–48 hours for responses. SK Nutrition does not provide emergency services; in case of emergency call 911. Limitations & Liability Nutrition counseling offers education and guidance, but outcomes cannot be guaranteed. Clients are responsible for implementing recommendations and making their own health decisions. SK Nutrition is not liable for outcomes resulting from failure to disclose relevant health information or follow medical advice. Consent to Treat By working with SK Nutrition, you consent to receive nutrition counseling, understand the risks and benefits, and accept responsibility for participation. Social Media & Testimonials Testimonials reflect individual experiences and are not guarantees. Professional services are not provided via direct messages on social media. Policy Updates Policies may be updated at any time. Continued use of services implies acceptance of the most current version.
